Design Process
For this pattern I was unsure of where to start. After seeing inspiration pictures from the client and hearing what they envisioned for this pattern I started to research methods of achieving this.
I found a video explaining how to do so by drawing out the pattern in procreate, shrinking it and drawing more of the pattern on all sides of the original pattern block. This creates the illusion of a flowing pattern with no stopping points of seams. Perfect for clothing items.
Once I got the idea of the pattern down on procreate and got it approved by my client, I then image traced it in Adobe Illustrator and cleaned it up from there ensuring the quality and seamless pattern remained.

Design Task
For this project I was asked to create a camouflage pattern for the business American Raised Outdoors. They wanted a effortlessly repeatable pattern to apply to their clothing.
At first when approached with this task I was uncertain of the outcome because I have never tried to design something that way before. Although after many hours of research, trial, and error, I finally figured out the correct method.
After much communication and many revisions I was ultimatly able to create a design that the client and I were both happy and excited about!
