Social Media Manager

In this position I was in charge of creating and posting content for our capstone. I recruited a few of my peers to help make posts along the way which they would send to me to proof and post with a caption each week. I started this account a month before the opening and we reached 82 followers.

I made various posters and a few reels to get our audience excited to come see our exhibition. I would say that this account was very successful!

I will include most of the posts I made on this page, but if you want to see even more, click the button below!

Scavenger Hunt Giveaway!

To get people to interact with our account, after I hung up posters in each building on campus, I made it a scavenger hunt! I posted on Instagram photos of our posters on bulletin boards and said:

Keep your eyes peeled! If you find one of our posters and post a picture to your instagram story tagging us, & you will win a prize at the reception of our capstone.

For the prizes I made them like party favors from a child’s birthday party to match our theme and brand. I also found bags with close to our same brand colors, and printed out stickers of our logo to put on the front. Inside I added some kid toys such as slime and a toy car, some candy, a coloring page I made, and one bag had a $10 gift card!

This scavenger hunt definitely got people excited and we ended up having 6 students who found the posters and came to our event to receive their prize!
